Another Memorial Day Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Not sure exactly what this sculpture is called.  Something like "the birth of industry" and dedicated to the guy who invented the stamping machine.  It is quite imposing and only made more significant by the addition of the bunny ears on the main character...  Makes you not notice that he's operating this impressive complication butt naked...

Clear skies and 10 miles visibility on this quite excellent Memorial Day Monday.  Winds are out of the south by 3kts and the sea surface was smooth and rapidly turned a bit choppy as the morning progressed.  The air temperature was 60.9˚ and the water was a most accommodating 66.2˚.  Low tide was at 5:56am -1.5' and high tide was at 12:30pm +4.1'.  It was a west swell out of 252˚ at 4.6' and we'll call it a crowded, elbow to elbow, 4' to 5'.  Danger Boy was on fire and struck fear into the hearts of several neophytes...  they kinda turned into "neofrights"...
