Second Opinion Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Gray and small this morning, but that didn't stop Zack (#1) from his appointed rounds.  Rounds in that he must have done 5 or 6 helicopters and landed about three of them.  Here he sets up for a nice little five as he glides across the inside...

Seven miles visibility under overcast skies with winds out of the NNW by 2 to 3kts.  A slight bump to the playing surface and it was 65.9º in the air and 70.3º in the water.  High tide was at 10:15am +4.4' and low tide follows at 3:21pm +1.9'.  We have a SSW swell out of 192º at 3.0', but it's a tad oblique to be hitting the Hermosa Beach.  It was 2' with some 3' outsides and they're calling for a bigger south swell mañana, replete with rips, big waves and dangerous conditions.  We, of course, will be spared some of the excitement, but it could be marginally better if your heart is pure...
