Tugboat Tuesday Two Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Lots of keys on this keyboard.  Some of them send messages when you're not ready to send them.  We're looking into the whole thing...

Yes!  The hardest part of surfing is getting in and OUT of the wetsuit.  Here (#1) we have Doc Scale boinging around the parking lot trying to extricate himself from his rubber restraint.  One word:  CONDITIONER.  Yes, it makes getting out of these full-bodied finger traps much easier.  Apply it to the outside of the suit and they turn inside out like your stomach after the three brandy's you had at the Christmas party in 2015.

10 Miles visibility this morning with a few clouds along the periphery.  Winds were calm and the sea surface was just a bit rolled.  The air was chilly at 48.3º and the water is a bit cool as well at 57.2º.  High tide was at 9:34am +5.5' and low tide drains at 4:28pm -0.4'.  We had a west swell out of 264º at 3.9' and it was 3' to 5' and was working through the tide...
