Not Many Waves But Lots of Horizon Out There Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Editor's Note:  I'm going to first apologize for anyone who got a message from me via "Snap Raise" to raise money for the Redondo Surf Team.  I wanted to write a personal note, but my unfamiliarity with the site caused me to send out all my addresses with some boilerplate note.  That being said, the Surf Team is raising money and your donations will go a long way in making our program successful.  I tried to tag folks who have some connection to the school, being alumni, local surfers or part of the Familia.  Thank you for your consideration and if you want to help and you didn't get a note, go to http://raise.snap.app/join_code/923414119 and make your donation!  You guys are the best!  Coach Frank

Morning dawned clear and cool with some lingering fog on the outside.  Winds were calm and seas were glassy (#1).  The air temp was 55.0º and the water is a Fallish 65.3º.  One tide today at 12:56pm +4.8'.  We have a SW swell out of 219º at 2.0' and it was almost 1' and poor.  Not to be skunked the crew made it down to King Harbor to do some more SUP recon.  Joining us for his first time on a SUP was Doc Scale.  He performed admirably, as you can imagine and made the entire trek from Ronnie & Michael's boat, around the bell-buoy and back!  Pretty good for his maiden voyage...

Okay, so we're on the road until December 1st, when we'll start careening toward the Holidays.  Look for us on Instagram and we'll try and send some pics as we bump along.  Still no definitive word on the Nile River bore, but rest assured inquiries will be made!  See you soon!
