Mamacita's Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Missing a few of the key riders of the excursion (Doc, Laurie & Millie) as the crew debriefs after the morning session.  From L to R we have Brendan the Tube Slayer, Stutzcanhang, Stoked Chocolate, Jah Morgan, the Professor and Capitan Donaldo Congrejo.  After a couple of hours in the water you know how good a cup of joe can be!  Every surfari, on some level, reveals a truth here-to-fore unrealized.  This morning it came to pass that, "If Donny said it, it must be true."  Take it to the bank...

Partly cloudy skies this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Winds were calm to 3kts offshore with a roiling sea surface from yesterday's blow.  The air was 52.2º and the water is 59.7º.  One tide is all we need today and it's low at 11:36am +0.1'.  Heading for some PM minuses this week.  We have a west swell out of 260º at 5.6' and it's 6' to 8' and pretty wild.  Not longboard friendly, but the shorter you go the better chance you have at some success.

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
