On The Fringe Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Look, we don't care if Nanny is working the pedals...  NO ONE under two should be driving a Land Rover!  Now Toyotas and Nissans are different, we even had NaNa the surfing coyote driving the X-Terrible.  And Luke Maggio was 12 and he drove it all over PV looking for CarveBoard™ hills.  But most importantly if you insist on driving - wait until your mother is in the car!...

Under cloudy, at times, rainy skies we have 3 miles visibility and a persistent, undeniable humidity.  Winds were offshore and variable all morning up to about 4kts and the sea surface was smooth to bumpy as the fronts bumped through.  The air temp was 61.3° and the water was 63.1°.  High tide was at 9:08am +3.9' and low tide will be at 4:29pm -0.2'.  We have a west swell out of 263° at 5.9' and we're calling it 3' to 5'.  Not as big as yesterday, but some nice ones just the same...

Tonight we'll be gathering at Samba for an happy hour.  Around 6pm.  Expect the unusual suspects...
