Pluck A Pheasant Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

We mentioned Shirley and her mom yesterday, but failed to include the photo.  So here we have from L. to R.:  Shirley, Shirley's niece, Nancy and Shirley's mom, Mom.

Again high clouds this morning and 12 miles visibility.  Winds were out of the south by 3.5kts and the sea surface is still sporting that almost annoying bump.  The air was 63.2˚ and the buoy says the water is 65.3˚, but it feels warmer than that.  High tide was at 8:03am +3.6' and low tide will follow at 12:37pm +2.1'.  We have a SSW swell out of 202˚ at 4.3' and it's turning the corner nicely creating, as Danger Boy might say, "A four foot to five foot event."  What ever it was, it was sure fun...

Don't sit at home watching TV tonight.  The Pheasant Pluckers are not only plucking, but picking and strumming.  As per usual, Boomfwappa will be beating the skins with a savage rhythm...  Not for the faint of heart.  Happy hour from 6 to 7 and then dancing from 7 to 10.  You can make it to bed in time to get enough rest for the dawn patrol.  Keegan's on Marcellina St. in Old Torrance.
