There Has To Be A First Time Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Chef Matt welcomed the Team to "Wingtips."  Next time you're in SF drop in and mention the Lost Boys...

A beautiful spring morning with 15 miles visibility and just a few isolated clouds.  Winds were off early at 2.2kts and the sea surface had a slight roll, winds turning onshore about 8:30.  The air temperature was 57.3˚ and the water was a cool 60.4˚.  Low tide was early at 5:08am -1.2' and high tide will be at 11:31am +4.1'.  We have a west swell out of 250˚ at 3.6' and it was 2' to 3' with some nice rollers.  Speaking of nice rollers at 8:21am Boris caught his first legitimate wave!  Claiming it after a long glide, far on the inside, Clarky and the Professor both saw the entire ride.  A thing of beauty...

The Oscar "Peña" Barahona Room at "Wingtips" in San Francisco.  This suite dedicated to hunters is named after the famed El Salvadorian who holds the world's record for bagging the world's largest and most fierce iguana...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
