Lost In Space Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

We were so impressed with Gabri's stone work that we took a few shots of his outdoor kitchen.  Maybe more impressive than his masonry talents were his cooking abilities...

There were almost waves this morning!  Okay, so there were some small ones.  It was clear and 15 miles visibility.  Winds were offshore by 2.7kts and the sea surface was smooth to glassy.  The air temp was 63.2 and the water temp is holding around 67.6.  High tide was at 9:10am +5.2' and low tide will follow at 2:54pm +1.0'.  We have a 2.6' swell out of the SSW 203º and it was 2' to 3' north of Marine and south of 27th St.

#2 is the Professor's "art shot" of the Sardinian littoral landscape.  He had LoLa walk as he panned the shot and just as in real life, she appeared and disappeared at will.  This is the first photographic evidence we have of the phenomena...  Thank you!

Happy hour this week will be at Hennessey's in Hermosa, with any luck on the upper patio...  5:30 will be the time and you are scheduled to bring the magic.  No, we don't know what it is.  It's up to YOU...

#3 is what passes for wisdom on Catalina Island.  We've seen a lot of great graffito on dirty cars, but this was the best in a while...
