More Than Meets The Eye Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

In the parking lot at the Elk's club in Waikiki (#1).  How did they get the Professor's initials on this trick bay window...?

Few clouds this morning and 10 miles visibility.  Winds wee light onshore by 2.2kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temp was 64.6 and the water is holding at 71.4.  9:36am +4.7' for high tide and low tide followed at 3:03pm +1.7'.  We have a SW swell out of 206º at 3.3' and it was a solid 3' to 4' with some nice little corners as the tide pushed in...

View of Diamond Head from Ala Moana, Tennis Courts (#2).  Talk about a long paddle!  The Professor barely scraped his foot and got three urchin spines and some reef rash that lasted for days.  He had to go to "Urchin Care."

Eric Barton (#3), a new addition to the list.  He hit it a bit later than usual because he and his wife just had a baby (#1) and she needed a walk before pops could get in the water...  The baby, not the wife...

#4  Our happy spot...  Base camp, Pililaau, West Side...

Patrick Malloy's will be our Happy Spot for this weeks Happy Hour.  See you then...
