Creativity Is Intelligence Having Fun Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A good day yesterday for all of those who jumped in and got wet.  (#1)  Demonstrates just how casual one should ride the nose.  No hand waving, no pumping, no cheating.  Mr. Christian presents a flawless example of the proper method...

Likewise, (#2) Jah Morgan in the middle of stepping to the tip.  Despite a weak knee and a cronky foot, she continues to make things look easy...

Overcast this morning and cooler than the advertised 64.0.  The water is 65.7 and there was no sun poking through the clouds.  High tide was at 7:37am +3.6' and low tide will be at 12:33pm +1.6'.  The 46221 Buoy tells us that we have a SSW swell out of 194º at 3.6' and it was 3' to 4', but not as clean and peaked as yesterday.  Let's hope tomorrow things clean up and we grab a reprise of yesterday's good surf...  If not we have three days to think about our sins...

#3 is a sign found in a consignment store suggesting they'd like to see you a bit later if you don't feel like wearing a mask.  The fact that they're comfortable with grandmother murderers returning is something else...

And then we have Suzi herself (#4) in the Adventure Room displaying surf stickers from around the world.  The question is when she and Joey will have the entire ceiling covered...

Mañana is the last day until Monday that you can legally trespass across the sand to get to the surf.  So let's see if we can't make the best of this situation and get a few waves before they close the beach...  See you in the morning...
