Tip-Toe Through The Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Moonlight surfing on Lake Payette (#1).  Mary Burke showing her goofy-foot chops on a one/two footer behind the boat...

Overcast this morning with variable winds and mostly calm waters.  The air temperature was 65.5 and the water is warming to a 68.7 at the buoy.  High tide was late in the morning at 11:16am +4.3' and low tide will be at 4:15pm +2.0'.  We had a west swell out of 270º true at 2.6' and it was 2' to 3' with some 4' outsides.  Joining the crew this morning were Emilee, Nathan and Shawna, who were working on refining their game.  All three were good paddlers and look like they all have the right stuff to be credible surfers!  Hope they join us again soon...

What do you do when your phone, no wait...  your watch rings and it's your wife and she needs stuff from the store and you're getting ready to go surfing and oh yeah, you're in your Speedos®.  (#2)  This is what your friends think is funny.  What could possibly be funny about an old guy in Speedos?  We had no idea the traction this would get on the internet.  Actually, it didn't get much traction at all...  which kinda made us feel awkward and silly...

Great sunset (#3) last night as we made our way back from Capt. Kidd's.  The sun came out for a total of about 17 minutes just before it sank...

Wondering (#4) how many people would take o-fence...
