Foaming At The Mouth Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here (#1) we have a member of the local citizenry pointing out the point of the exercise this morning.  Yes it was the annual boogie & bodyboard extravaganza in which alternate crafts are encouraged and bodies found themselves being flung through the air challenging each and every vestibular sense.  Naturally a fabulous time was had by all in what was described as a fitting celebration of the fourth.

The sun was trying to break through and waited until we got out of the water to peek out.  Winds were variable mostly out of the south, ruffling the waters.  The air was 65.5º and the water took a significant dip in the surfline to right around 65º.  High tide was at 6:19am +2.8' and low tide follows at 10:38am 2.2'.  It was a south swell out of 187º at 4.3' and it was a solid 3' with a few bigger outsides.

Have a safe insane fourth and remember that the local constabulary is now using drones to identify larger than average explosions.  It still sounds like a war zone out there, but maybe not as bad as last year.
