Lost Boys & Co...

Plane?  What plane? - Don Burt

What? It was there a minute ago?  Maybe it flew away.  On the other hand Xena (Warrior Princess) thought she had it:

        "I believe that is a C-5 Galaxy!"  - Xena

We're not sure that's a C-5 Galaxy, we thought they were a tad bigger.  Maybe this was a "baby-galaxy?"  What we do know is that we have our first photo of a UFO!  Yeah, we're pretty damned excited....

Partly cloudy this morning with a chance of showers throughout the day.  We have 15 miles visibility and some spectacular cloud formations on the horizon.  Winds are still off by 4.8kts and the sea surface is smooth.  The air temp is 58.6º and the water is holding at 58.1º.  High tide is at 7:05am +5.6' and low tide will follow at 2:26pm -0.6'.  The buoy is reading a west swell at 253º 3.3' and holding steady.  The tide is still a bit high, but later this morning you're likely to find some good waves along the avenues and if you wait until later you might even luck out at Rat or Haggerty's (if you feel like battling the crowd.)

So, it's Friday!  Go out there and have a marvelous time.  We encourage you to do a bit of goofing off at work today.  For your own good and your sense of humor.  Boomfwappa called us and told us that our new President is expecting ALL of us to pitch in an extra measure to make this experiment in democracy work.  He wanted to know what WE were going to do.  Well, we're thinking about it.  Not sure yet, but it might involve some volunteer work.  Maybe some beach cleanups?  Anybody ever participated in one of those?  Paver?  Did you do some of that with the scouts?  Let us know...
