Furtive Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Ran across (literally) these two native American women running in the "Bay to Breakers" event in San Francisco.  They heap fast for squaws...  Next year they're going as lightning bolts...

Long week here at the farm, so happy hour gets top billing today.  Samba at 5:30pm - goes until 7pm or Mark tells us that happy hour is up.

Overcast this morning with 7 miles visibility and not looking like it's going to clear until noon.  Winds were offshore at checkout at 3.2kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temp was 61.5° and the water was 63.0°, but not overly commodious due to the lack of sun.  High tide was at 7:53am +3.8' and low tide will follow at 12:59pm +1.4'.  The buoy is reading a straight shot west swell out of 261° at 3.3' and it was 3' to 4' until it just plain stopped.  Like that.  Just quit.  Then started up again after Danger Boy and the Professor were starting to turn bluish...  They revived themselves with coffee and a manly-man's brekky at Brother's.

If you didn't think Sandyland was famous enough, there's a sign...  Now, everyone will know!
