Got Nothin' To Say Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Years ago when we first went down to Zihaut, they didn't warn us about the sharks, or huge mantas, or Portuguese Man o' Wars.  Nope, they warned us about the river going crocodiles.  These babies get up to 30 feet and they eat PMo'W's, mantas and sharks, which is why you don't have to worry about those things...  Our pic is from Australia where this twenty-footer nabbed a Bull Shark and brought him back to the beach for a leisurely snack...

A bit overcast this morning, breaking up to partly cloudy and 10 miles visibility.  Winds were calm and the sea surface had a bit of left over bump from last night's persistent breeze.  The air temp was 64.3˚ and the water was 66.0˚.  High tide was at 8:07am +3.8' and low tide will follow at 12:51 +2.1'.  We have a SSW swell out of 192˚ at 3.0' and it's 1' to 2' and poor at most spots...  There's a bit of a south swell about, so if you can make it to a south facing beach, you just might score some waves...
