Yeah, No, For Sure Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Nothing like a new blade to make it all seem worthwhile...  Bob Gnarly was the first one out this morning at 6:45 to get his new Barahona baptized...

Happy hour is at Shade (next to the Cheesecake Factory) at 5:30pm.  Make sure you wear your woollies.  You'll need them if we don't get a fireplace...

20 miles visibility under clear skies.  Winds were calm at checkout, but the surface was still a bit bumped.  The air temp was 38.3 (yeah, you read that right) and the water was 58.8.  High tide was at 7:29am +5.6' and low tide will follow at 2:24pm -0.7'.  We have a 4.3' west swell out of the west at 271º.  It was 3' to 4' between the bumps and fun enough for the conditions...

It was only a matter of time before Californglish superseded Spanglish.  In all fairness it incorporates a bit of Spanglish as well.  Lesson #1 is included.  Yeah, yeah...

Geez, we've had our share of rain this year, but the real problem half the time has been the wind.  #3 is Sapphire yesterday.  Perfectly good size, clear skies and windier than shit...
