Don't Be A Weasel Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

So in photo #1 we have the Danger Boy archives.  They were removed from their vault a couple of days ago and it's the first time some of these treasures have seen the light in decades.  Obviously, all of that stuff couldn't have been in that little shed.  The shed is just a facade for a much larger system of vaults and tunnels that connect various parts of the property.  Danger Girl will be cataloging and filing pertinent objects with the intent of exhibiting them in the Museum of Danger®.

Hazy sun this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Winds were calm, but again some residual bumpiness from last night.  The air temperature was 54.4 and the water (at the buoy) is 58.6, but feels like it's in the 60's in the surfline.  High tide is at 10:58am +4.9' and low tide will be at 4:54pm +0.3'.  Tides flip tomorrow as we start with a -0.4' tide at 5:38am.  We had a 4.3' WSW swell out of 254º and it was 3' to 6' depending on where you landed...

Thanks to Brother's Burritos for these sweet new hats for the Redondo Surf Team.  Here a quartet of seniors display their millinery...  (L to R:  Kelly, Emma, Keely and Frank)
