Mow The Tiki Bar Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Yeah well, it's spring and time to mow the Tiki Bar.  We're figuring there's about 300lbs of creeping fig that we cut off the top and we're only half-way finished!  Meanwhile, there's still a board up there that we haven't been able to cut down... yet...

Hazy sun and about 9 miles visibility.  Winds were calm and the sea surface has a bit of leftover roll from the windy outer waters.  The air temperature is 56.8 and the water is 61.5 and closer to 63 in the surf line.  High tide was at 8:32am +4.9' and low tide will be at 2:34pm +0.1'.  Tides flip on Friday.  We have a SW swell out of 236º at 5.6' and it was an honest 4' to a couple of feet over head...  Could be bigger tomorrow, but expect the winds early...

Someone finally got her braces off and now she's showing those pearly whites!  Way to go Alaina!

A couple of placas in the head on the beach in Hermosa.  Okay, it's graffiti, but it's interesting style.  If we had to guess we'd say "La Rana" East Torrance.  The S's are the giveaway.  We're thinking the Players...
