Duck, Duck, Goose Monday Surfr & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Here we are on the shore of Lake Payette watching third reef Davis Point getting ready to break...  Lots of fun stuff to do in McCall, ID but surfing is way down on the list...

Hazy and foggy this morning with almost 2 miles visibility.  Winds were light onshore by 2kts and the sea surface had a bit of bounce going on.  The air temperature was 65.0 and the water is 69.8.  Low tide was this morning at 8:03am +2.4' and high tide will be at 3pm +4.6'.  We have an oblique SSW swell out of 195º at 3.3' and it was 2' and poor at most spots...  Jack the Urchin Grabber told us tomorrow will be the best day for weeks...  We're not sure if that's good or bad...

JRS yelled "Duck!" and we almost missed this parade of a mom and her ducklings going across the street...

Getting ready for the eclipse in Cascade, ID.  The combined efforts of Little Warren, Ape Walti, the Professor and Rico were responsible for the images you'll see over the next couple of days.  If you look closely you can see the face of the sun complete with sun spots, flares and some hair on the lens...  this is how you can tell they're authentic...
