THAT'S Waimea Bay Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

#'s 1 & 2)  Yes/No, that's Waimea Bay and this is exactly how it looks in the summer without the famous big waves.  In photo #1 you can see Steve's white house on the corner of Pinballs and in #2 you can see Dragon Rocks undulating in and out of the surface...

The crew (#3) was out this morning with Tarsan, Walk Away Reneé, Ronnie the Diner and the Professor mugging for Jenx the dog as he snapped our photo.  Hazy overcast and about 7 miles visibility.  Winds were light onshore and the surface was slightly textured.  The air was 67.1º and the water is 67.5º.  High tide is at 9:41am +4.0' and low tide follows at 2:13pm for a 2.2'.  We have a SSW swell turning the corner at 202º at 3.6'.  It was a solid 3' and the board meeting included our latest addition Lana, who currently goes to West High, but the Professor is trying to get her to escape to Redondo.  She'd be one of the better longboarders!

Soraya, was a tad uncertain about lowering the windows when she saw the warning (#4), but the Professor convinced her that she's be okay.  Time travel is like that...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
