Two, Twenty-Two, Twenty-Two Twosday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Snow was coming down in these big soft flakes (#1) flocking the entire landscape in Currier & Ives drifts.  We hot tubbed on this day because visibility on the mountain was close to zero.  Made for some fine lacy trees (#2) though...

Hazy sun this morning with the wind already blowing out of the west by 11.5kts.  The sea surface is predictably chopped and the air temperature is 51.0º.  The water is 58.8º, but this wind might drive the temp down a bit.  Low tide is at 7:37am +1.0' and high tide will be at 1:25pm +2.9'.  So the result of all this wind is a west swell out of 268º at 4.6', being blown down to 3' to 5'.  It must be pretty close to have such a short period swell and it might still be blowing mañana...

This pic (#3) describes how crowded the slopes were...  Not so much...

So the crew bids Idaho a goodbye (Maharishi, Buck, Anaconda Burke, LoLa and the Professor) and let's see what's cracking in the morning!

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
