Second Longest Tuesday of the Year Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

If there's a special event, if there's a party, if there's a paddle out, who you gonna call?  Well, you're going to call the Sruf Familia and they will show up and bring a salad, a casserole and a Pabst and a bottle of wine.  Photo #1 was the Pride Day paddle out and and if you were Kirra, things went swimmingly and the rest of the crew paddled...

FINALLY!  There are waves!  It started yesterday and the group hit Sapphire to make the most of the wind sheltered SSW swell out of 200º.  Winds were light out of the west by 1 to 3kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air was 62.0º and the water is 62.6º  Low tide was at 5:54am -0.6' and high tide was at 12:49pm +3.5'.  You had to catch it early to take advantage of the 3.3' swell and it was 2' to 3' until the tide floated it beyond rideable...  Maybe mañana?  Check'em out!
