Heater Of Love Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

No Charlie (#1) did not get a head transplant, he just has the world's most astonishing tan line.  When summer finally comes it takes him weeks for his body tan to catch up with his head...

Another week of surf that didn't look as good as it turned out to be.  It was overcast and not quite 5 miles visibility.  Winds were on shore by 3 to 5kts and the sea surface was sporting some medium texture.  The air was 58.0º and the water was 58.1º.  You will know when it hits 60.  Low tide at 5:54am -1.2' and high tide will be at 12:40pm +3.5'.  It's a SW swell out of 217º at 2.6'.  It ended up being 3' and a lot better than we initially imagined...

Congrats to Lana and Bridget for graduating from the LA County Ocean Lifeguard Academy.  No doubt they'll be the best!
