Lost Boys &Co...

"14th floor. North Myrtle beach. 88 degrees air temp, wind onshore at 30 knots. Waves about 1 to 2. Don't know about water temp yet."  (Danger Boy reporting from his lair high above the mid-Atlantic...  Ed.)

Meanwhile, on a completely different coast, we have overcast skies and a little shy of 10 miles visibility.  Winds are softly onshore by 1.2kts and the sea surface is smooth to lightly rippled.  Winds will increase to 10-12kts with light to moderate chop.  The air temp was 61.8° and the water is 64.4° at the buoy with a 70° posted on the Hermosa Main Tower.  It was rather pleasant yesterday.  High tide at 5:34am +3.1' and low tide to follow at 9:55am +2.2'.  A late afternoon high is full at 4:58pm showing 5.8'.  We have a SSW swell out of 210°, continuing to swing west at 2.3' and we'll call it 1' to 2' and some nice little munchers to lubricate your kneecaps...

Industry News:
Rumor has it that McTaggart/Paine Productions®, has continued work on it's latest film production.  Details are sketchy, but it is believed to take place in Hermosa and feature several local/international personalities at a local establishment and on the beach.  The producers have been seen scouting locations on the beach with videographer/camerman Chuck Haifly (opening the possibility of 3-D) and eating at Brother's Burritos, rumored local establishment location.  No, wait... it actually is an establishment and a location, not a rumor.  Initially planned to be premiered at the Hermosa Film Fest, production irregularities, cost overruns, weather issues and artistic differences conspired to push the date back...
