"SA-LAWN KARG" on the lawn at the Mar y Fuego Resort yesterday.  Mike Karg and his lovely wife Verena are in town and Jetsky feted the couple as Karg sheared the enthusiastic gathering.  The secret is, of course, to get it cut short enough now so that it's ready to cut again in October when he returns...

Overcast this morning and 7 miles visibility.  Winds were light out of the SW by 3kts and the sea surface had a light bump to it.  The air temperature was 68.3 and the water is a delightful 73.2.  High tide was at 11:19am +4.7' and low tide will be at 4:30pm +1.6'.  We have a weak SSW swell out of 196º at 2.3' and it was about half of that on most beaches this morning...  The forecast looks pretty dismal until this weekend when the outer waters begin to have a bit of wind and the swell increases...  Be patient...

Jah Morgan with Alan Walti from the Surfrider Foundation receiving an award for her part in the annual beach clean-up and testing effort.  While the Jah is cleaning up, we're just trying not to be too messy...  Part of the crowd at Waterman's on Friday evening, including LoLa, Yoshi (photobombing) and Sean Sullivan checking his phone.  Sean is the general manager at Pacific Subaru and will get you a deal despite yourself...
