Thanks For The Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

#1  The Professor takes what we would deem a "defensive stance," as the woman in the car next to the bus attempts to put money in the meter before 10 o'clock...

Clear skies this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Winds kept trying to kick up early and did around 9am to 7 knots from the WSW.  The air temp was 62.3 and warmed quickly to 70+ and the water was 65.5 at the buoy and Roddy Williams called it 70 on the chalkboard.  High tide was at 9:26am +3.6' and low tide follows at 2:02pm +2.2'.  We have a South swell out of 172º at 3.3' and it was 2' to 3' and lots of fun little ones to practice on...

A little break (#2) as we cruise along the strand and end up at the "Corner Cafe'."

Why are these men laughing?  Maybe because they've heard about the great "Pirate Hooker Saturday Soaker Soiree'."  Saturday morning around 8am, featuring your favorite pirates, hookers, peg legs, hooks, costumes, super soakers and surfing...  Hermosa Pier and the waves are supposed to be fun to good...  The possibilities of pissing a lot of people off are really good...
