Wedding Bells Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Although it's still up for debate, the first salvo was reported to have been launched by Adm. Zachariah Finn of the Royal Navy.  Though it was wide of his target by a few feet, it quickly set the tone for the entire assault...  Fire, paddle, re-load, paddle, duck, paddle, repeat...

Eight miles visibility this morning under hazy skies.  Winds were light onshore at 3.2kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 68.0 and the water is 70.5.  Low tide was at 6:15am -0.2' and high tide was at 12:52pm +4.0'.  We have an oblique SSE swell out of 164º at 3.6' and it was 2' to almost 3' on the outside...

In #'s 2 & 3 we have Able Bodied Seaman, "Madam I'm Adam."  We see him drawing his musket in #2 and then taking aim in #3...  A good shot by any standards, he held off an entire phalanx of marines from the south...

#4 describes "Black Brendan, Scourge of the Southern Cross®" taking a direct hit to the gizzard.  No less than three buccaneers have taken credit for the shot, but it remains a mystery as to who fired the piercing ball...
