A Phaeton Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A beautiful morning as the sun came chuckling over the Hermosa foothills and warming the 58º air, which made the 66.4º water seem like a good deal.  Winds were steady offshore at 4 to 5kts and the sea surface was brushed smooth.  High tide was at 7:58am +4.2' and low tide followed at 12:46pm +2.8' as the tides regain their more regular sine curve.  We have a SSW swell out of 199º at 2.6' and it was a solid 3' and a bit crunchy after the initial drop-in...  (#1) Jake Kislinger, finding a corner to mow down...

And you thought Yoshi just made burritos!  (#2)  Think again...

Burnsy cruising on her yacht (#3) somewhere of the coast of Maine.  Is she sailing back?  We're giving her a week and then we're calling the Coast Guard.  If you look closely you can see the fall colors on the island...  There, between the tanks...

(#4) Our sentiments exactly...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
The Professor!!
