Cyber Shmyber Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Hoping you had a great Thanksgiving and you're getting over the tryptophan poisoning.  But here comes the real deal - CHRISTMAS!

We found some old negatives and had our go-to photog/cinematographer Burnsy transfer them to digital images, like god intended.  Here's (#1) of an incredibly young Professor throwing darts and salsa dancing on his 10'2" Bing Australian Model.  Olé!

Cloudy this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Kinda looked like Bass Lake yesterday morning (#2).  Winds were consistent offshore by 2 to 4kts and the sea surface was smooth to oily glassy in spots.  The air temperature was 54.5º and the water is 61.2º at the buoy.  Low tide was early at 5:25am +3.1' and low tide will be at 11:43am +5.7'.  There's a SSW swell out of 215º at 2.3' and it was 3' to 4' and seemed to work marginally better at the lower tide...  Could be3 good mañana

Contest Wednesday at 26th St. Manhattan for the second half of the Men's Shortboard Kick-Off Classic Contest.  If the first half was any indication, there should be some great surfing going on.  Action starts at 6:30am!

Here (#3) he is strolling the streets of Bass Lake extolling the gathered multitudes to be good, at least for the next 4 weeks...  No, it won't be easy, but you can do it...
