Not So Much Topaz Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

#1)  Keeping the leprechauns at bay.  They're not anti-gun, they're just pro-sword.  They sneak in at night and hide out in the tiki bar...

#'s 2 & 3)  Not too much action in these frame grabs of Topaz/Sapphire & the Hermosa Pier.  Started out raining like crazy and then the front moved through and left us with clear and windy skies, blowing from 9 to 11kts and forecast to ramp up during the day.  The air temperature was 61.2º and the water is 63.3º, but don't be surprised if it gets knocked down a bit with this blow.  High tide was at 8:17am +6.4' and low tide is at 3:15pm -0.4'.  Full moon tonight, likely will be clouded over by then.  We have a 3.3' SW swell out of 219º and it's about 2' with whitecaps starting to kick up...

Chinda and Oscar Barahona (#4).  We'll be joining them this week for Jimmy and Ivonne Barahona's wedding.  Okay, so they've been married like 17 years, but they'd like to cement the deal in Metapan in the old colonial church there.  The reception will be at the lake and then we'll be heading to El Tunco for a little surf and chill...  Back on the 18th with a run-down of the events...
