Move It Along Monday Surf & Culture Report
Lost Boys & Co...
In 1956 if you came pedaling down the street in this number (#1) your friends would swallow their gum, throw themselves on the ground and turn green with envy (or from swallowing that baseball sized wad of gum.) Dual headlights, a sculpted frame and a design that makes it look like it's moving when it's standing still. We found this beauty (and this weeks velocipedes) at the Cincinnati Art Museum, which in our opinion is an amazing gem in the middle of the country.
Mostly clear this morning with a few clouds bouncing around the firmament. 10 miles visibility. Winds were strong offshore 4 to 8kts and the sea surface was smooth with a little offshore tack. The air temperature was 58.6º and the water is 67.5º. High tide was at 9:21am +3.6' and low tide will be at 1:30pm +2.2'. It's a WSW swell out of 257º at 3.9' and it was a steady 4' with some fatter outsides. Was not looking deluxe. Crashy and if you weren't patient, frustrating.
