Lost Boys & Co...

Hey, what about this weather!  Global warming or WHAT!  We don't mind that much, it sure is nice.  Our first photo is a pic of Janine and Birdie checking out the surf.  Instead of surfing they took a walk down to the harbor and back.  Janine lead the expedition.  Since there was no surf they were checking out the Body Glove boat heading to their secret lobster lounge.  Thanks to Robbie for kicking up some wake for the desperate.   Okay, let's look at the stats....

We've got unlimited visibility this morning (last night we were coming back from PV and the lights across the bay were spectacular.)  Winds are out of the NE this morning by 3.9kts and the sea surface has the slightest offshore tack to it.  The air temperature is 60.3° and the water is 56.1°.  High tide is at 6:48am +4.1' and low tide will be at 1:13pm +0.5'.  The buoy is showing a 2.0' swell out of 250°.  We'll call it 1' but at present it's not really breaking.  There were some little waves yesterday afternoon if you're absolutely crazy about getting in the water.  Or you can do like the Coach and the Professor did and get the paddleboards out and stretch those muscles a bit.  A perfect morning for that or some stand-up.

Picture the third, is Dono over a bowl of steaming posolé.  On Saturday and Sunday you can get a quality bowl of this delicious hominy stew (with pork) and a quesadia to go with it for about $7 at Brother's on 11th street in Hermosa.  Obviously Dono subscribes to the theory that on a hot day you need something even hotter to cool you down.  Note, that he hit the Tapatio sauce as well!
