War Of Nerves Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Why is it that when our car breaks down we can't write a surf report?  It's okay, it's running now...

Before you think Ché crashed a quincenera, she was 27 and doing a photo shoot.  Except for the fact that she was a bit overdressed they made a perfect couple...

Gorgeous morning with 20+ miles visibility and clear skies.  Winds were calm and the sea surface was smooth and the water was crystal clear.  The air temperature was 69.3˚ and the water was 71.6˚.  High tide was at 10:42am +6.1' and the tide is out at 4:55pm +0.1'.  Tides flip next week and then the week of the 21st we have the ever popular Autumnal Equinox and some 6'+ tidal fluctuations.  We have a SSW swell out of 205˚ at 3.0' and it's 2.5' at most spots...  Fun little waves and some super clear water...

Our second photo has Sammy on the outside point on one of the bigger sets that day.  She was charging and being so light she made her way into a lot of the rolling bigger waves.  She is also one of the best switchfoots we've ever seen.  Except for the fact she doesn't switch!  She's regular on rights and goofy on lefts.  Try that some day...
