Three Thrashed Amigos Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

"We who are about to get thrashed salute you!"  Said the Professor, as he lead Bobbin' Robin Fenlon and Jetski Vishnevsky into the almost head high surf.  Okay, so it wasn't Waimea Bay, but if you've been surfing about 15 minutes and you suddenly get thrown into those sucking dredgers, it's enough to make you think about taking up checkers...  To their credit, they both caught a few and most importantly said they'd return.  Maybe when it's a tad more docile...

Cloudy this morning with 7 miles visibility and a bit of the drizzlies.  Winds were out of the SE at 2.3kts and the sea surface was rolling oily.  The air temp was 61.3˚ and the water was 61.9˚.  Low tide was early at 5:27am -0.9' and high tide was at 11:59am +3.8'.  We have a SW swell out of 219˚ at 4.3' and it was a strong 3' to 4' with some head-high outsides...  Some fun ones if you were in the right place...

Meanwhile, the Professor had a couple of projects on the drafting table and we liked this pineapple that he's doing for some shirts...  Fo' Real!
