A Case Of The Fidgets Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A bit of wind on the berm.  The county actually had some trucks on the move to bolster the dune before it could melt into the ocean on the west and slide into the strand to the east.  All this being done one grain at a time...

Ten miles visibility this morning with some serious clouds blowing through the troposphere.  Winds, bordering on excessive, are out of the west at +23kts and the sea surface is 3' to 4' chop and uniformly rough.  The air temp is 58.2º and the water is  65.1º.  High tide was at 8:19am +6.2 and the wind driven tide was over some of the walkways in the harbor.  Low tide is at 3:30pm -0.7' and there should be some spectacular dredgers.  We have a WNW swell out of 283º at 7.5' and by this afternoon it should be in the 10' range.  Tomorrow will all depend on when and how much the wind dies down...  Check'em out...

Yesterday, before the wind came up, Donnie, Boris, Morgan, Chris Hall and the Professor got some of the early swell.  The Professor milks this little left for another 25' of fun...  (Photo credit:  Grant Ibrahim)
