The One And Only... Danger Boy

Lost Boys & Co...

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we must report the passing of our friend Doug "Danger Boy" Ball.

Arguably, the most famous and iconic of all Lost Boys, Danger Boy lost his battle with the twin foes of cancer and congestive obstructive pulmonary disease today (December 11, 2015) around 5pm.  He will be remembered fondly and forever for his indomitable spirit and enthusiastic approach to everything he tackled.  Stories of Danger Boy are legendary and will undoubtedly be told for years to come.  Whether real or laced with hyperbole it remains that he was famous for charging in the lineup and no one who ever saw him will forget his late takeoffs or deny his fearless attack.  Whether he was surfing, working as a research biologist for the DWP, riding his Harley or singing in the St. Lawrence Choir he did it with the utmost enthusiasm and preparation.  Needless to say he was a dedicated father and husband and our condolences go out to Donna, Amy and Tamara and their respective families.

Words cannot express our grief and we can only take consolation in the fact that his suffering is now, mercifully, at an end.  When arrangements are set, we will share those with you...

(1.  Tio Ted, Danger Girl, Celestyna, Danger Boy and Ché pose with the custom Barahona Danger Boy Signature Model.  2.  Danger Boy and Ivan in Kings regalia, celebrate the Kings Stanley Cup victory.  3.  Danger Boy posing with his bus for a 2012 feature article on classic VW buses.  4.  The Professor and Danger Boy.  5.  Danger Boy reporting on the surf in Myrtle Beach on a trip to the southeastern United States.)

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
 The Professor!!
