Okay, after you get out of the water from surfing tomorrow what are you going to do? Yes, you can dry off and put on your clothes... No, you're not going to go to Starbucks and have that half-cafe mocha frappacino with extra cream. You're going to get your sorry ass to the polls and VOTE, like every other decent American. And even if you vote exactly the opposite way we do, we're still hoping you'll go down there and cast your ballot. As our mentor and role model Al Capone once said, "Vote early and vote often."

Partly cloudy conditions this morning with 17miles visibility and a bit of low lying haze. Winds are offshore, but variable to 3.9kts and the sea surface looks oddly chopped for these wind conditions. The air temperature is 61.9f and the water is 64.4f.
High tide is at 11:09am +4.7' and low tide will be at 7:43pm +0.8'. The buoy is reading a strong 4.6' and the waves are a bit wally and dredging at 4' to 6'. We watched it a long time before we decided to take a bike ride. Maybe tomorrow? Of course, they're talking about it raining tomorrow and having pretty unstable conditions. We'll keep our weather eye out and let you know what we see.

About Voting:

If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.

Democracy is being allowed to vote for the candidate you dislike least.
Robert Byrne

Voters want a fraud they can believe in.
Will Durst

Keep things as they are - vote for the Sado-Masochistic party.

Historical note:

In 1932,
lame duck President Herbert Hoover was so desperate to remain in the White House that he dressed up as Eleanor Roosevelt. When FDR discovered the hoax in 1936, the two men decided to stay together for the sake of the children.
Johnny Carson

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
