Good morning!  We got a little let down this morning when they canceled the Bishop Montgomery surf contest against San Pedro.  We even had a secret weapon to help the girls out.  The attachment shows LoLa our secret weapon doing a little preparatory work in the Hanalei shorebreak.  The good news is that the contest has been rescheduled for Monday.  Be there at 6:30am, wetsuit on and ready to go...

Meanwhile we have clear skies, 10 miles visibility and a pretty heavy haze with a fair amount of smog right on the deck.  Winds are offshore by 3.9kts and the sea surface is glassy.  The air temp is 62.2f and the water is 62.6f - still pretty nice when the sun is out.  High tide is very high at 8:20am +6.8' and low tide is very low at 3:34pm -1.2'.  Somewhere in the middle there could be some good waves.  The wind will be the determining factor.  The swell is registering 3.9' and the waves are 3' right on the sand.  Making for some outstanding wipeouts and you don't need your telephoto to catch the action!
