Forget-Me-Not Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Our first shot is a that iconic spot on everyone's surf itinerary.  Yes, that's Waikiki and you're looking right out there at Queen's.  If you've got a good zoom you can see a huge canoe coming in a little to the right there at Canoe's.  How funny...  We surfed there and it ended up being fun and about half as crowded as we thought it would!  Like ten guys out instead of 20 or 30...

Sun's looking hazy this morning with some fog trying to creep around from the far side of PV.  15 miles visibility with our good eye.  Winds were calm at 6am and have been picking up all morning.  Sea surface smooth to tacky at 8:30am.  Blowing from the SW now.  The air temp was 66.7° and the water is a delightful 70.5°.  basically one tide today, high at 2:13pm +5.3'.  The next low is at 10:44pm +0.7', but we're not thinking you'll be out.  The buoy is reading a 3.0' swell out of 204° and we're calling it 1' to 2'.  We actually went out after conferring with the Coach at Pete's.  It was fun until the wind whipped up.  Forecasts suggest that there might be some small waves this weekend, with the best bet being on Sunday.  Take a look!

The most gorgeous sunsets in the entire world?  We're guessing they're right up there with anywhere else you might pick...
