Slightly Tacky Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Check this out for a little technical filmic interest.  They used a 30-cam Go-Pro array to get these wrap-around shots!

Then we have our own Melissa Mazur slotted in this section that's just about to get some feathers.  Mark as well, without feathers,  wrapping this little section as he did a roller coaster into this corner.  (If these photos appear out of order in the website, it's because we had to install them after the fact.  Sometimes the files are to big to send, so we have to include them later.  They never end up where we want them.  Thank you.)

Hazy sun with a few high clouds and 18 miles visibility.  Winds were offshore out of the ESE by 3.3kts and the sea surface was smooth, but lightly textured.  The air temperature was a mild 57.9° and the water didn't seem that cold at 61.3°.  High tide at 10:42am +5.3' and low tide will be at 6:30pm +0.3'.  The buoy tells us we have a west swell out of 275° at 2.6' and we'll go with that, with some outsides at 3' even.  A nice fall day to catch a few butt slappers.

"What another sees in you will reveal that person.  What you see in another reveals your self.  We are - each of us and all of us - mirrors."
Scott Raab

Finally, the Professor using a little body English to squirt through this section.  His English turned out to be quite adequate, even if it is his second language...   ✠
