Thick & Thin Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Melissa Mazur, getting down to a little speed run...

Big foggies this morning, with reduced visibility until about 7:30am.  Hazy sun up above the fray.  Winds out of the NNE by 4.1kts and the sea surface was glassy to smooth. The air temp was 56.0° and the water was 61.9°.  Low tide at 7:14am +3.2' and high tide will follow at 12:49pm +4.5'.  The buoy reads a west swell out of 270° true at 2.6' and we're calling it 2' with not much push...

Our condolences to our good friend Zoë Mailloux Maggio and her family on the loss of her mother Tina.  Tina was 91 years old and lived a wonderful uncomplicated life with her family and friends.  She was a happy presence at many of the Maggio's parties and get-togethers and we will miss her smile and warm good nature.

Friday, Flashbak will be at Keegan's in Old Torrance (Happy Hour at Buffalo Fire Dept.  5:30pm) and Saturday the Pheasant Pluckers will be at St. Rocke on 2nd St. & PCH at 9pm.  Eating, drinking & dancing for those inclined...   ✠
