Don't Talk That Way Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

As we've been told a million times, "Things go better with Coke™."  It must be true because they're closing PCH to deliver these coking devices to Standard Oil in El Segundo.  We can only imagine how much Coke™ these thermoses might hold!  Amazing...

Clear skies and 20+ miles visibility.  Winds were offshore by 4.1kts and the sea surface was smooth, if not a tad brushed by the offshores.  By 7:30 the air temperature was 49.6˚ and the water was 55.0˚, although Lifeguard, Rowdy Roddy Williams, maintains it was a balmy 57˚ beneath the Hermosa Pier.  High tide is at 9:09am +5.4' and low tide will be at three squared, 3:33pm -0.2'.  The 46221 tells us that we have a west swell out of 265˚ at 3.0'.  We're calling it 2' to 4' and some nice high tide mushers at some of the better breaks.

Since things go better with Coke™, we decided to try it with some chapulinas.  Things were going just fine, when someone noticed that chapulinas looked remarkably like what we call "crickets."  No problemo!  We just upped the ratio of Sailor Jerry's™ to Coke™ and they tasted fine.  If there was any problem, it was that their little feet get stuck between your teeth.  Kinda looks like you were smiling as a plague of locusts swarmed through...
