Lost Boys & Co...

I've thought the Professor's e-mails to be somewhat phishy for years
Big Daddy
(YES, the Professor's contact list was compromised and no doubt all of you got ads for weight reducing compounds, raspberry throat lozenges and/or electrically assisted velocipedes.  Sorry for the spam, but like a lot of things it wasn't all bad.  Danger Boy purchased a box of raspberry lozenges for a tidy discount and now belongs to the "lozenge of the month club..."   Ed.)

The day started out sunny enough and then took a turn for the gray.  10 miles visibility, diminishing as the clouds rolled in.  Winds were offshore by 2.9kts and then turned on around 11am, bringing down the temps precipitously.  50.0˚ at checkout and 57.0˚ in the water.  High tide was at 6:29am +6.3' and low tide will follow at 1:37pm -1.2'.  The 46221 Buoy tells us that we have a west swell out of 275˚ at 4.3'.  We'll call it 2' to 4' and bigger as you go north...

At first what seems to be an unremarkable shot of LoLa sliding off a chairlift in Brundage Mtn., Idaho, turns out to be a great indication of how many folks were there on Friday a week ago.  Might be a great field trip for a Lost Boys contingent? It was "Diva Days" and women skied for $25 a day, all day, all lifts...  A couple of black diamonds, but mostly intermediate runs and a great lodge...
