A Long Run Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Sierra Brown on a nice little right-hander unwinds it down the line...  Sierra has been steadily climbing the ranks and got second in last weeks contest against Torrance High.  Good to see Torrance in the mix...

Looks like we doubled up on the reports today!  But this is today's...  20+ miles visibility under slightly hazy skies.  Winds were variable offshore to 3.3kts and the sea surface had a bit of a bump. but nothing too wicked.  The air was a crisp 55.5˚ and the water was an unbelievable 62.2˚.  Rasta Pete has only recently broke out his 3.5 X 2.5 Patagonia.  High tide is early at 4:50am +5.0' and low tide will follow at 12:15pm +0.6'.  We have a WSW swell on the rise at 3.0 out of the WSW 245˚ and it's 2' to 3' on the beach, but it's still wally-crashy.  Maybe better mañana...  Check'em out...

An hibiscus in the bog just north of the Tiki Bar...
