A commonly held notion is that Dorothy Gale from Kansas walked all the way to the Emerald City on the Yellow Brick Road from Munchkin Land.  In truth, she and the Scarecrow knew enough about mechanics to turn the Tin Woodsman into a '73 Volkswagen Bus.  They picked up the Cowardly Lion and if it weren't for the poppy fields they would've made it to Emerald City in 5½ hours...

Finally getting warmer again - thank goodness!  Mostly clear skies and 20+ miles visibility.  Winds were out of the SE at 9.1kts and the sea surface was smooth to almost glassy.  The air temperature was up 5˚ from yesterday to 60.3˚ and the water was 61.2˚.  High tide was at 9:12am +5.9' and low tide will be at 4:17pm -0.6'.  Perfect for some skim boarding!  We have a weak WSW swell out of 250˚ at 1.6' and it was 1' to almost 2' in the surfline...

During the recent cold snap LoLa dug deep into the closet and came up with this ski parka.  When we rode behind her it was like being on the slopes...
