Mikado Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...
So, it was blowin' like a son of a gun this morning and one of the places that seemed to hold things together a bit was between the horseshoe pier in Redondo.  We show a nice peak and a right off the north side of the horseshoe.  Not clear exactly how illegal it is to ride there.  It used to be okay, then strictly forbidden and now the signs are down, but no one seems to be making the effort.

Windswept vistas greeted the dawn and it was 20+ miles visibility in all directions.  Winds were hard out of the north up to 20kts and the sea surface was full whitecaps.  The air temperature was a wind assisted 53.3º and the water was 62.4º.  High tide was at 11:03am +5.2' and low tide will be at 6:44pm +0.5'.  We have a west swell out of 262º at 9.5' and it was a spectacular 8'-10'.

Clark the Meth Hunter, Jetski and LoLa check things out from the Hermosa Pier.  Hangin' on to keep from being blown away...
