Move Over Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

Fun to travel around and check out new and interesting places, but sometimes home deals up some great surprises.  Like this morning's sunrise.  Braedan, who was struggling with his wetsuit, turned around and went "Whoa!"  Yeah, whoa!

Partly cloudy and an excellent morning for sunrises.  12 miles visibility.  Winds were offshore by 5.6kts and the sea surface was smooth.  The air temperature was 59.9º and the water was 66.4º.  High tide was at 7:24am +5.7' and low tide will be at 2:04pm +0.3'.  We have a west swell out of 272º at 3.0' and it was a high tide floated 2' to 3', with a few goodies, but you had to wait...

If you were following our Instagrams from the road, you know this pic didn't make the album cover.  LoLa, Tarzan, Cheli, Jorge (the maraca player) and Capt. Donnie.  Jorge owned the restaurant across from El Morro, where we went up to the roof to listen to the "canonado" at 9pm to close off Havana harbor.  They missed us by a mile...
