From The Microshpere Monday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A cloudy, still morning, yesterday, as the friends of Danger Boy paddled out to bid him a fond farewell.  Stories were shared, flowers were sent floating and the cry of "Danger Boy AWAAAY!",echoed down the beach.  Photographer René Evette caught some of the salient moments, including a pod of dolphins that came to share the moment...  Many thanks to Ronnie Garcia and the folks at Brother's for both the food and venue!  Thinking Danger Boy would have been proud...

Cloudy this morning with 10 miles visibility.  Winds were offshore by 6.4kts and the sea surface was smooth to glassy.  The air temperature was 51.3 and the water is holding steady at 60.4, but feeling a tad cooler in the surfline.  High tide at 9:22am +6.3' and low tide will be at 4:28pm -1.0'.  We have a west swell out of 264 at 4.3' and it was 4' to 5' at most spots...
