A Fantabulous Friday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

You know how it feels when you've got one of those heinous colds that leave all your mucous membranes crusty and rough.  Well, it's kinda like this guy (#1) feels all the time...  How about a little Oil of Olay™...

A cool winter sun in a hazy sky.  10 miles visibility.  Winds are light offshore by 2.3kts and the sea surface is smooth.  The air temp at checkout was 48.3 and the water is 62.2.  A high tide at 7:04am +5.9' and low tide will follow at 2:05pm -0.2'.  We have a west swell out of 262º at 3.6' and it's slabby 3' to 5' waves at most of the beach breaks.  When the tide drops there are some possibilities if you look in the right places...

Parking is always a premium in Hermosa, but especially during the holidays...  Here (#2) Capitan Donaldo double parks on Jetski's ride...

The Birdman of Hermosa (#3)...  He was trying to convince us that Cheetos™ were an integral part of the typical seagull diet.  Thank you - we were born at night, but not last night...  "Say, could we have a couple of Cheetos™ anyway?"

Remember Patrick Malloy's this evening at 5:30pm.  Follow Yoshi's lead and get your parka at the ready...

And next week we'll be offering up some Christmas gift suggestions for your last minute run to the agora...

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it"
